Maggie and I met on Twitter years ago – I still remember our first conversation. It was all about eating refined sugar free. Little did I know that it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship that would turn into more of sister-like bond. So let’s chat about Maggie’s cookies! I am pretty sure that everyone loves an Oreo- and these Peppermint Oreos look about a million times better than ones you can get at the store! Overflowing with peppermint frosting and sure to be everyone’s favorite! The filling recipe uses powdered sugar – you can easily drop the same amount of coconut sugar with a tablespoon of arrowroot powder in the blender and whirl it up if you want to stay completely refined sugar free.
